Sherlock is a British TV series created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, retelling the Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in 21th Century' context. The show follows the adventures of famous detective Sherlock Holmes (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) and his loyal friend and partner, Dr. John Watson (played by Martin Freeman).
Set in modern-day London, Sherlock Holmes is portrayed as a brilliant detective with a knack for deduction, reasoning, and a keen eye for detail. He helps the police solve complex crimes and mysteries with his exceptional intellect and observation skills. Throughout the series, Sherlock and Watson face a variety of cases, both standalone and interconnected, including murders, kidnappings, terrorism, and high-stakes conspiracies.
