Jonathan Small is the main antagonist of the episode "The Sign of Three" (January, 2014) of the English TV series Sherlock. He is a a photographer whose brother was killed under Major Sholto's command.
Having a personnal grudge against the Major Sholto, Small put a complex plan in place, using Private Ben Bridge as a test case for his method of murder and then deducing an opportunity to get close to the Major by linking up with his close staff, he went into action at the wedding of the Major's friend John Watson, booby-trapping his enemy's belt; using his position to approach him discreetly. However, his plan was brought to light by private detective Sherlock Holmes, and he was arrested by Commissaire Lestrade.
