Mary Morstan, née Rosamund Mary, is a major figure of the BBC TV series Sherlock. She was a former international mercenary and member of A.G.R.A and the late wife of army doctor John Watson.
Working as A.G.R.A agent alonside notably Ajay as international mercenary, she was however forced to give this after the (seemingly) death of all her comrades, wenting to work as a clinic nurse where she becomed his wife after testimony of the return of John' old friend and private detective Sherlock Holmes. After being blackmailed by the powerful businessman Charles Augustus Magnussen, truth about her past was finally revealed, leading John to pardon her. However, after the truth of her comrades' deaths was revealed some time fater, she was killed by the traitorous Vivian Norbury.
Even after her death, Mary' legacy still haunted both John and Sherlock, the latter feeling reponsible for her death, and she left a few cassettes to continue sending some messages.
