Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows is a 2011 american movie. It is directed by Guy Ritchie and serves as a sequel to the film Sherlock Holmes (2009). The film follows the adventures of the brilliant detective Sherlock Holmes, played by Robert Downey Jr., and his loyal friend Dr. John Watson, portrayed by Jude Law.

In this installment, Holmes faces his greatest challenge yet in the form of his arch-nemesis, Professor James Moriarty, played by Jared Harris. The story is set in the late 19th century, during the industrial revolution and the backdrop of a looming war between major European powers. Holmes becomes entangled in a complex web of conspiracies orchestrated by Moriarty, who aims to profit from the chaos of the impending conflict. Throughout their journey, Holmes and Watson traverse various European cities, including London, Paris, and Switzerland, as they piece together the puzzle behind Moriarty's plans. Along the way, they encounter a variety of intriguing characters, including a gypsy fortune teller called Simza, played by Noomi Rapace.
