Basil of Baker Street is the eponymous main protagonist of the 1986 Disney movie The Great Mouse Detective. He is a detective mouse who lives in the basement of 221B Baker Street in London, the same residence as the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. Basil is known for his intelligence, deductive reasoning skills, and keen sense of observation, all of which make him an excellent detective. Basil solves various mysteries and crimes with the help of his loyal companion, Dr. David Q. Dawson. Together, they navigate the streets of Victorian London and outsmart villains to bring justice to the city.
