Tom Cat is a fictional character created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera for the animated series Tom and Jerry. He is depicted as a grey and white cat who is constantly trying to catch and eat Jerry, a clever and mischievous mouse. Tom is known for his clever schemes and determination to catch Jerry, but his plans often backfire and result in humorous and slapstick situations. Despite their never-ending rivalry, Tom and Jerry occasionally team up to work together when faced with a common enemy.
