The Adventures of Shirley Holmes is a Canadian 1996 television series. It is a modern-day reimagining of Arthur Conan Doyle's iconic detective Sherlock Holmes, with the twist of the central character being a teenage girl named Shirley Holmes, the great-great-niece of Sherlock. Set primarily in the fictional small town of Redington, Shirley is a highly intelligent and curious teenager with a natural gift for deductive reasoning, much like her famous ancestor.
