Sherlock Holmes in New York is an American film released on 1976. The plot of the film revolves around Sherlock Holmes' confrontation with his arch-nemesis, the Professor Moriarty. Moriarty lures Holmes to New York with the promise of orchestrating his greatest crime yet. What follows is a game of cat and mouse, as Moriarty kidnaps Holmes' old flame, Irene Adler, and her young son, forcing Holmes to solve the crime and rescue them.
