Sherlock Holmes and the Great Escape (大侦探福尔摩斯：逃狱大追捕 Great Detective Holmes: Escape and Big Pursuing) is a 2019 Hongkongese animated film co-directed by Toe Yuen and Matthew Chow, based on Ho Lai's children's book series The Great Detective Sherlock Holmes. Set in the late 19th century, the story follows Holmes as he apprehends Mack, a Robin Hood-like outlaw known as "White Storm," who steals from the rich to aid the poor. Mack's arrest at his daughter Katie's birthday party leads to public outcry against Holmes. Four years later, Mack escapes from prison, prompting Holmes to pursue him once more.
