Sherlock: Case of Evil is a 2002 television movie. The plot revolves around Sherlock Holmes investigating a series of grisly murders connected to the criminal mastermind, the Professor Moriarty. Early on, Holmes believes he has finally rid London of his arch-nemesis, but as the case unfolds, he realizes that Moriarty’s influence runs deeper than expected. Meanwhile, he forms a friendship with Dr. John Watson, who is depicted as an opium-addicted war doctor looking for redemption.
