Sebastian Moran is the secondary antagonist of the american movie Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011), the sequel to the movie Sherlock Holmes (2009). He is depicted as a ruthless and efficient assassin, known for his deadly precision as a sniper. He serves as Professor James Moriarty's enforcer, carrying out orders with a cold, professional demeanor. He’s often seen executing tasks without hesitation, demonstrating a loyalty to Moriarty that makes him a dangerous opponent for Sherlock Holmes and his allies.

His role is crucial to Moriarty's plans, as he operates from the shadows, ensuring that the professor’s schemes proceed without a hitch. It illustrate the reach of Moriarty's influence, positioning him as a physical threat to Holmes, complementing Moriarty’s intellectual menace. Unlike Moriarty, who prefers to engage in mind games, Moran is more direct and brutal, using his military background and combat skills to intimidate and eliminate obstacles.
