Sherlock Holmes, Lestrade and John Watson
"

Greg Lestrade is a Detective Inspector from New Scotland Yard and a close ally for private investigator Sherlock Holmes, which he frequently consulted.

A policeman giving investigations and interesting cases to Sherlock who he met several years before his meeting with John Watson, in a case including old woman died with hypothermia, he sometimes also acted on Mycroft Holmes' supervision. He was also one of the only (if the only) allies he had in the police, particulary during Jim Moriary' scheme for wiping out Sherlock' reputation and credibility.
