" The man who sees through everything is exactly the man who doesn't notice... when there's nothing to see through.
— Eurus to Sherlock [3]
"

Eurus Holmes is the sister of Mycroft and Sherlock Holmes and a long-time patient of Sherrinford facility.

Spending her childhood in Musgrave Hall at the family house alongside her parents and her siblings Mycroft and Sherlock, Eurus very soon developped tremendous intellect even superior to those of her brothers as well psycopathic behavior and attachment to Sherlock. Eurus loneliness and jealousy culminated when she kidnapped and left to die Victor Trevor, the best friend of Sherlock, and burned the family house; causing her to be incarcerated at Sherrinford island for years in the total secret, Sherlock then rewriting his memories of Victor into his dog Redbeard and changing his personnality for a emotionless and cold man, also totally forgetting Eurus.

Years later, Eurus conceived a plan with criminal genius Jim Moriarty and managed to lure Sherlock and Mycroft as well John Watson at Sherrinford, setting a place a macabre game with all them with the posthumous help of Moriarty. Finally, the game culminated with the reveal of the truth of the demise of Victor and the lose of the control of her own mind by Eurus, finally getting reincarcerated at Sherrinford. Now completely catatonic, she received ponctual visits from Sherlock who played violon with her.
