David Suchet is a british actor. He played Moriarty in the 1976 play Sherlock Holmes played at Birmingham, and Roger Altounyan in the episode "Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Missing Link" of the TV series Science Fiction.

David Suchet was best known for playing the role of another great detective, the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot created by English novelist Agatha Christie, in the TV series Agatha Christie's Poirot, which began in 1989.
