Case Closed: The Phantom of Baker Street, also known in Japan as Detective Conan: The Phantom of Baker Street (名探偵コナン ベイカー街ストリートの亡霊 Meitantei Konan: Beikā Sutorīto no Bōrei) is the sixth film in the long-running Case Closed anime franchise, released in 2002.

The story begins with Conan Edogawa and his friends attending the launch of a revolutionary virtual reality game called Cocoon, developed by a genius programmer. The game immerses players in meticulously recreated historical settings, allowing them to experience famous moments in history. When Conan and a group of children, including both friends and rivals, enter the game, they find themselves transported into a virtual London of the late 19th century, during the time of Sherlock Holmes. But something goes terribly wrong: the system’s artificial intelligence traps the players inside and announces that if they die in the game, they will die in real life. To survive, they must solve a mystery tied to Jack the Ripper, the infamous real-world serial killer who haunted London’s streets.
